Janice Jackson Obituary

On Tuesday, August 11, 2020, Janice (Nookie) Morris Jackson at the age of 64 went home to glory! Born on September 18, 1955 in Salisbury, Maryland. She was the step-daughter of Charles Hardy and the daughter of Naomi (McCandless) Hardy. 

She was joined in holy matrimony to Kerry L. Jackson on August 15, 1994  Nookie love spending time with her family and friends; especially traveling to new places with them. She enjoyed going to spin classes at the gym, reading, and cooking. She also love planning gatherings with her family and friends trying out new recipes. She enjoyed life to the fullest in all that she did. And she loved the Lord for all that he provided for her while she was here. She has gone home to be with her mother, niece, and nephews.

Nookie leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Kerry L. Jackson, son: Marcus A. Gunther (Simone); daughter: Ker’Ree Jackson; grandsons: Micah and Isaac Gunther, Jackson and James Martin; granddaughter: Madison Martin, and great grandson: Mason Gunther; bothers: Richard (Sherleena), Robert (Vivien), Michael (Michelle), and Eric; sisters: Gina (Derrick), Elana, and Karen. She also leaves 37 nieces and nephews, 28 great nieces and nephews, 33 great great nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her nephews Michael C. Hardy, Jr., Brandon K.Williams; niece Kimberly Morris and one of her Divas Wendy Beavers.
