She worked for Food Lion Supermarket as a Cashier, for four years. Due to health issues, she decided to stay home and be a homemaker.

Kisha was a member of New Missionary Baptist Church in Quantico, Maryland, under the leadership of Reverend Hugh C. Nichols. She served on the Usher Board and Hospitality Committee.
She had a warm, loving, and sweet disposition. Kisha was easy to be around and was willing to help others in need. Kisha was deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed.
