Larry Slaughter

Larry Slaughter, 75 of Easton, MD, also known by family and friends as Curly, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Talbot Hospice Foundation. He was born June 29, 1947, in Easton to the late Marjorie Slaughter Russell and the late Norman Russell Sr.

He attended school in Talbot County, Maryland.  His job history included The Tidewater Inn, Mason’s and Morris Adams. On May 21, 1987, he married Paulette Moaney. They enjoyed their time together shopping, eating, listening to music, watching old westerns and sports on T.V.

Left to cherish his loving memories will be his wife of almost 35 years, Paulette; his sisters: Delores Hinton (Lawrence) Hartford, CT; Rose Slaughter, Betty Taylor both of Easton; Patricia Mannette, Hartford, CT; Dorothy Seabrook (Donte’) Fayetteville, NC; his brothers: Garrett Slaughter, Cambridge; Normal Russell Jr, Baltimore, MD; Joey Slaughter (Donna) New Castle, DE and a half-brother, Rudolph Russell of Easton; 2 aunts: Gladys Turner of Easton and Joyce Flamer (Charles) Denton; an uncle, Wendell Slaughter, Florida; three sister-in- laws: Jacqueline Wheatley of Trappe, Shirley Moaney Easton, and Luvenia Draine (Robert) Millsboro, DE; best friends: Melinda and Bell Bellamy along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

It seems I left real suddenly but God had some plans for me. 

He had prepared my mansion and he wanted me to see.

I’ll miss you all, but wipe your tears,

I won’t be back this way

Live each day as God sees fit

and we’ll meet again someday.
