Marlaine Thelusca Obituary

Marlaine's Journey

Marlaine The’lusca Calixte, age 45, peacefully transitioned from this earthly life at Tidalhealth Peninsula Regional Medical Center in  Salisbury, Maryland, on January 27, 2022.

She was born on October 26, 1977, in Haiti to Louise Andrea      Estima.  Marlaine was one of five children born to her mother, and she enjoyed her role as a sister.

She graduated high school in Haiti and was determined to become a businesswoman. Later in life, Marlaine opened a successful restaurant, which served her community.

Marlaine was a member of the Word of Life Center in Salisbury, Maryland, where she enjoyed fellowship with her church family.

As a young woman, Marlaine married Joseph Gary The’lusca and the couple had three beautiful children. She enjoyed being a wife and mother because it brought her emotional fulfillment to shower them with love.

She had several talents, such as singing and cooking, however, her passion was cosmetology and fashion. She was quite creative in making herself beautiful and putting together a stylish outfit.

Marlaine was easily described as an ambitious, strong, and determined woman, who had a loving and sweet disposition. She was truly loved and will be deeply missed.

She leaves to treasure loving memories, her husband: Joseph Gary Thelusca; one son: Schny The’lusca, and two daughters: Dayana The’lusca and Gayana The’lusca; her mother: Louise Andrea Estima; two granddaughters: Kimberly B. The’lusca and Stacey Z. The’lusca; one sister: Yolene Demard Caliste; two brothers: Sonel Calixte and Jonel Calixte; four nephews: Ritchnel Calixte, Ridyy Calixte, Jodley Calixte and Faddy Fenley Demard; three nieces: Anne Chloe’ Calixte, Jolanche Calixte andlory ibishai Demard; and a host of extended relatives and friends.

Marlaine’s sister: Julienne Calixte and her brother-in-law: Frantzy Demard, preceded her in death.

Psalms 23

1.The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.

3.He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

4.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.

5.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
