Quincy Lake Obituary

Quincy Sa-Von Maurice Mitchell-Lake, lovingly known as Que from Salisbury, Maryland, departed this earthly life on November 22, 2022, in Laurel, Delaware. He was born on October 11, 1993, to Daniel M. Lake and Evangelist Shantell L. Mitchell, at Tidalhealth Peninsula Regional Medical Center, formerly known as Peninsula Regional Medical Center, in Salisbury, Maryland.

Que graduated in 2012 from Wicomico Senior High School. He was devoted to his children and loved being a father. His hobbies included breeding and training Pit Bull dogs and spending time with his family. Que was a jokester and loved cracking jokes. As an avid video game player, he shared his knowledge of gaming with his children. Like his mother, Que was extremely competitive in family games. It was the highlight of every church and family holiday to enjoy their competitiveness. He was loved by many!!

Que was a member of One-Way Apostolic Church and served on the Usher Board and Pastor’s Aide Committee. He was baptized in Jesus' Name in 2015 according to Acts 2:38 by his pastor, Dr. Michelle Harris and District Elder Charles Shelton assisted her in Que's baptism.

He was preceded in death by his beloved paternal grandfather, James Lake Sr. in April 2015, great aunt and second mother, Evangelist Clara E. Christopher in January 2017, great aunt Rene Lee Christopher in February 2022, and paternal uncle, Michael Lake.

Que leaves to cherish loving memories, his children, Kaiden Mitchell-Lake, Ashton Mitchell-Lake, and Queen “Cherry” Mitchell-Lake, mother, Evangelist Shantell "KeKee" Mitchell, father, Daniel Lake, stepmother, Beverly Lake;  sisters, Ashley Neal and Jenya Lake, brothers, Aaron Neal, Daniel Lake Jr., Joshua Lake, and Tyler Swift, maternal grandparents, Beth Sheba Gale, and Amos Mitchell, paternal grandmother, Alberta Lake, fiancée, Amanda Durham, maternal great grandmother, Pastor Norma Sims, maternal great uncles,, Donny Maurice Christopher, William Christopher, maternal Great Aunt, Pastor, Dr. Michelle (Chuck) Harris,  aunts, maternal Pastor Nicole Sanders & Minister Tara Chandler, paternal aunts, Lenore Lake, Evon Lake & Shauntae Lake, maternal uncles, James Gale Jr., paternal uncles, David Lake, James Lake Jr., Timothy Lake & James Samuel Lake,  nephew, Isiah Wallace Jr., special cousin/sister, Tori Christopher.

Que leaves a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
