Obituary

Roslynn E. Ferguson, daughter to the late Mable V. Ferguson and Norman Robinson, was born on March 07, 1956, in Belle Glade, Florida. She was called to be with her heavenly Father on November 08, 2022.

Rosie, as she was affectionately called, fellowshipped at Greater Hope Church of God In Christ, Salisbury, Maryland. After she accepted Christ as her personal savior, She constantly strived to make heaven her eternal home. She found joy, peace, and strength in worshipping God.

Rosie's most precious gifts from God were her sons, Michael and Titus, and her five grandchildren. They were the love of her life.

Rosie's career extended many years in the healthcare field, starting at River Walk Manor, Harrison House, Dove Pointe, and United Needs Abilities. She held numerous positions and retired from Dove Pointe after 28 years. She was a correctional officer at Eastern Correctional Institute, and at that time, she was the only female officer on the tactical team.

For many years, she was a loving foster parent for children through The Arrow organization, Social Services, and other foster care agencies.

In 1993 Rosie earned an Applied Associate of Arts (AAA) degree at WorWic in Criminal Justice and 1994, an AAA degree in Corrections.

She enjoyed shopping at Kohl's, Marshalls, and Walmart. Cooking, reading, and gardening were some of her favorite pastime activities.  She treasured family gatherings.

Rosie loved everyone, and she was loved by many. She had a heart of a willing servant and didn't hesitate to reach out and help others.  Rosie opened her heart and her home to countless people, especially children.

Rosie's loving memories will be cherished by her sons, Michael Muhammad (Jeannie), and Titus Lofton Sr., and grandchildren, Elijah Lofton, Titus Lofton Jr, Allison Lofton, Justice Muhammad, Jaleel Muhammad, sisters, Frances Ferguson and Iris Foster (Efrem), brothers, David Ferguson (Milette), Maurice Ferguson (Debra), and Russell Robinson (Almena), special friend, Ernest Pierre Jean, former husband and friend, Roy Ridley, best friend, Josephine Bradley, and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.

In addition to her parents, Roslynn was preceded in death by her brothers, George Ferguson, Anthony Harris, and Darryl Dardello.
