Sheila Watts Obituary

Sheila Watts, 63, was born on May 13, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York to Lula Mae and Howard Watts. She peacefully departed this earthly life on August 18, 2022.

Sheila was educated in the Public Schools of Brooklyn, New York. After many years of living in New York, her family moved to Salisbury, Maryland, to be closer to her mother’s family. Here, she found work and was employed at Dove Pointe and other caregiving positions.

Sheila joined and was an active member of New Hope Baptist Church, where she was baptized of the water and Spirit. She was a member of the choir, Helping Hands, and Bible Study, where she loved learning the Word of God.

Sheila loved her family and friends and will be truly missed. For certain, she was a true friend to those that knew her.

Sheila is survived by one sister, Selina (Derek) of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Mae, and father, Howard Watts; Brothers, Howard Jr., and her twin, Shawn, Sherman, and William “Ting” Watts.

Psalm 91: 1-2

1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
