Victoria Gove Obituary

Victoria Gove, was born January 30, 1952, and she peacefully transitioned from this earthly life to be with the Lord on May 6, 2020. She was surrounded by her loving family at her home in Salisbury, Maryland. Her late husband of more than forty years, Eugene Gove Sr., died several years earlier, and now they are reunited.

She worked for forty years, alongside her husband in their family business renovating homes. They worked hard and helped many people within the community.

Victoria was affectionately known as “Vicky” and “Mama Vick,” by her family and friends. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed any type of entertainment involving Elvis Presley. Mama Vick loved watching professional wrestling and soap operas. During her final years, Vicky enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and spending quality time with her family.

Mama Vick leaves to cherish loving memories, six children: Bobby Reid of Smyrna, DE, Al (Shannon) Gove of Laurel, DE, Jodi (Mark) Locke of Salisbury, MD, April Gove of Elkton, MD, Gene Jr. (Christine) Gove, and Elvis Gove, all of Delmar, DE; three stepchildren: Doug Monroe of Delmar, DE, Crystal Gove of Seaford, DE, and Little Gene Gove of South Dakota; 26 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a sister: Bethann Rosenburger of Claymont, DE; a brother: Donald Bierd of Wilmington, DE; her foster family in California; and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended relatives and friends.
