Mrs. Virginia Lee Foreman 87, of Berlin, Maryland was called home to glory on March 1, 2024, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Maryland.
She was born on July 25, 1936, in the city of Snow Hill, Maryland. She was the daughter of Viola Sara Redden and Martindale Price, and one of eight children. Mrs. Virginia was employed for many years by the Worcester County Board of Education, serving at Ocean City Elementary School and Stephen Decatur Middle School.
Surrendering to the Lord at an early age, she strongly believed in serving God and walking with integrity. As she grew older, she became a member at Calvary United Methodist Church, where she faithfully served as a senior choir member, communion steward, a member of the nominating committee and Mother of the church.
Anyone who knew Virginia, knew her family always came first. She was a faithful mother, aunt, grand, great grand, and great-great grandmother. She made sure her children were self-reliant and taught them how to work hard for the things they wanted out of life. "Cause nobody is gonna give you anything".
Virginia loved to plant flowers during the spring and boy did she love her Fisher's popcorn, and spending time with her loved ones.
When God opened His gates, she was approached by 2 sons, Daniel Foreman, and Billy Foreman, 2 sisters, Lula Foreman and Katrina Lawson, her parents, Viola Sara Redden and Martindale Price, and her grandmother, Virgie Redden, as well as a grand-great grandchild.
Virginia leaves to cherish her love forever with her beloved husband of 72 years, John V. Foreman Sr, and her children, John (Sonia) Foreman, Gloria (Jim) Huss, Sandra Foreman, and Betty Gibbs; her dear siblings, Debra (Peter) Trower, Mary Hardy, Violet Ann Taylor, Wilmer (Beverly) Hammond, and Larry Hammond. Along with a host of grand-great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Our hearts may hurt, and our eyes may cry. We will only say see you later, we won't say goodbye. We will miss your smile; and we will miss your laugh but now we know you're forever at rest. She will be missed greatly, but we know only what we do for the Lord will last.
Lovingly, Submitted
The Family
