Howell & Jolley Memorial Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Services is a historic funeral home proudly serving Maryland’s Eastern Shore with compassion, dignity, and care. Established in 1947 formally Jolley Memorial Chapel, our chapel has long been a trusted place of comfort for families navigating life’s most tender moments.

Our History

The history of Jolley Memorial Chapel dates back to its founding by the late Thornton B. Jolley, whose vision was rooted in service, respect, and heartfelt care for the community. From its earliest days, the chapel has served as a cornerstone on the Eastern Shore, providing meaningful ways for families to grieve, honor, and celebrate the memories of their loved ones.

For generations, Jolley Memorial Chapel has been known for offering respectful and affordable funeral, cremation, and memorialization services in a warm and welcoming environment. Our mission has always been to support families with empathy and professionalism, while striving to exceed the expectations of each family entrusted to our care.

Today, Howell & Jolley Memorial Chapel proudly continues the Jolley legacy, honoring the values established in 1947 while thoughtfully meeting the evolving needs of today’s families. Guided by tradition and strengthened by trust, we remain committed to serving our community with integrity, compassion, and grace.
